Yes, yes, and yes to both questions. As a side note, boudoir photography is not a sin. A boudoir session is all about showing women how beautiful they are now and embracing their unique beauty! Why do these questions arise in the first place? Religious beliefs? Fear? How about projections? It could be all of the above. As a rule, I never photograph anyone under the age of 18 since a legal document must be signed by a legal consenting adult. I only work with those of legal age for my safety and the safety of my clients.
Make sure you look for a boudoir photographer you can trust if you’re worried about your safety. If you get a “weird vibe or feeling” or if your intuition tells you to find someone else, do so. Choosing a photographer who makes you feel comfortable is crucial because boudoir is such a vulnerable style of photography.
